My name is Jaiden Chicote and I am a graduate Game Developer based in Sydney, Australia. I have interests in art and software, and venturing into the world of software development.
I am a well organised, problem solver with attention to detail and willing to seek a better solution to problems. I have a particular passion towards developing graphics in shaders as well as in 3D work in games. My spectrum in development is quite diverse between games, mobile and web development. However developing a particular interest and specialisation in technical art and programming in game engines such as Unity and Unreal Engine.
Outside of programming, I have a keen interest and hobby in illustration and art, working on minor comic projects and illustrative studies in art.
I graduated as a Game Developer in the University of Technology Sydney (UTS)
under the course of Bachelor of Science, in Games Development. I took the path as
a games developer to experience the graphical work involved in software alonside understanding
the design methodologies and many principles that are associated in making good software in
games. Importantly, undertaking this course allowed me to be more hands on with projects
and taking work that pushes my understanding of software development beyond the game engine.
This course allowed not only work in games development, but also in other key areas in Software
Engineering and Information Technology. Which has allowed me to access knowledge in User-Interface
design and development and skills in the software industry.
